Product Highlights
Robust hydraulic lock-out design prevents over-extension of the suspension, top-out of the piston and averts damage to the seal assembly (on most applications)
PTFE coated bearing reduces friction during operation between the rod and rod guide, improving durability (on most applications)
Tenneco shouldered bushing and bonded bushing with sleeve designs prevent bushing walkout for improved quality and durability (on most applications)
Nitrogen gas-charged for improved ride and handling, helps maintain tire to road contact by reducing aeration (on most applications)
.05-inch Pressure tube withstanding pressure of 9KPSI. Thicker pressure tube provides the ability to handle more severe road conditions
.70-inch (18 mm) Nitrocarburized rod. Larger diameter rod provides better compression control and side-load strength
Sintered iron piston allows for more precise piston dimensions, requiring no additional components, for improved durability and an exceptional fit
1-3/4-inch (44.6 mm) Bore. Larger bore size gives accessibility to finer tune the valving by allowing more hydraulic fluid to dissipate heat for better vehicle control (when required)
Loop welding technique. 100% Resistance weld meets OE tensile strength and durability requirements (on most applications)
